Set across 24 acres of stunning natural beauty, the site features a tranquil pond and several woodland walking trails, making it ideal for nature enthusiasts. Hideaway Camping is also conveniently located near popular tourist attractions such as Lydford Gorge, Meldon Reservoir, Dingles Fairground, and Okehampton Castle.
Guests can enjoy a two-night getaway in their unique ‘Forrest Glamp’—a double-decker bus that combines original bus features with a rainforest theme for a fun and unforgettable experience.
The bus offers a cosy, nature-inspired retreat with plenty of space to relax, on the upper deck, guests will find stunning views of the surrounding countryside along with comfortable beds and fresh linens for a restful stay. The lower deck features a fully equipped kitchen, including a cooker, fridge-freezer, sink, and breakfast bar. For a fun twist, guests can also dine on the classic back row bus seats.
Outside ‘Forrest Glamp,’ there's a private bus shelter with toilet and shower facilities, plus a picnic bench and fire pit for enjoyable outdoor dining and relaxation.
