Established in 2016, family run Velfrey Vineyard occupies a gentle south facing slope near to the market town of Narberth in the south Pembrokeshire countryside. The vineyard has over 4,000 vines planted across 3 acres.
The vines are planted in a sandy clay loam, a soil type which is found in some of the world's most prestigious wine growing regions. Pembrokeshire sunshine combined with coastal breezes provides perfect ripening conditions leading to wines of the highest quality.
Calling all wine buffs: Velfrey Vineyard are opening their gates for you and your best pal to explore the vineyard. This opportunity to explore a beautiful south facing sloped vineyard nestled in the South Pembrokeshire countryside will leave you and your wine buff buddy full of viticultural information.
Explore the lifecycle of the vines and the process of creating wine at this Welsh vineyard followed by a tutored tasting of their delicious creations. Sample two of their bespoke wines followed by a bottle of sparkling wine for you and your guest to share!
