Your Lift 109 journey begins in the Power Station’s magnificent Art Deco Turbine Hall A, where through a carefully curated exhibition of original records and multimedia displays, you’ll discover more about the building’s rich heritage, its architectural significance and enduring presence in popular culture.
The lift transports you to the base of the north-west chimney where you’ll board London’s brand-new glass elevator: Lift 109. Continuing onwards and upwards, constellations of light guide your way as the lift makes its exhilarating ascent to the viewing platform 109 meters above ground.
Once your visit has concluded you can take a stroll along The Mall to The Royal Horseguards Hotel where your Sparkling Afternoon Tea will be served. An impressive historic building in London, The Royal Horseguards Hotel is situated on the River Thames at the Embankment.
Your Sparkling Afternoon Tea will include a mixture of finger sandwiches, scones and sweet treats accompanied with a glass of bubbly each.
This experience is available Monday to Friday, throughout the year. Excludes weekends, school and bank holidays, Christmas, New Year.
The Lift 109 experience will last approximately 30-40 minutes, around an hour for your afternoon tea
This experience is for two people, there will be other people there on the day.
