Overview
Prepare to be blown away as you see the world from a different perspective. Relax and soak up the views of the rural countryside as you approach the amazing skyline of the City of London. You will be able to see buildings as far as the eye can see, before turning round and head back to the launch base.
Upon arrival you will receive a pre-flight briefing before boarding the helicopter! In the distance you will see the amazing skyline of London, including buildings such as The Shard, Canary Wharf and the Gherkin. You will admire the views before heading back to base. You will also receive chocolates and a mini bottle of fizz.

When can I go?
This experience is available on one selected weekend date per month, April to October. Subject to availability.
How long will my experience last?
Your total experience will last approximately 30 minutes, with 12 to 15 minutes in the air.
How many people is this experience for?
There'll be a maximum of five others in the helicopter with you.
Can I bring family and friends?
You're welcome to bring along family and friends to watch you take to the sky.
What else do I need to know?
The minimum age for this experience is 6 years old, under 12's must be accompanied by an adult.
The maximum weight is 15 stone (95kg). Please be advised the experience may not be suitable for those who are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, or who have heart or medical conditions. If in doubt consult your doctor before purchasing.
On the day you must bring with you photo ID (passport, photo driving licence etc) AND proof of your address (electricity bill, phone bill etc) for security reasons. You must be at least 12 years old to be a passenger in the front seat.

If you've always wanted to ride in a helicopter or need a gift for someone who does I would highly recommend this experience. Once I arrived at North Weald airfield, I registered with a member of the team and had a short safety briefing before taking a seat in the pub and waiting for my number to be called. Then I was called and given another short but informative brief which put my mind at ease as I was slightly nervous having never been in a helicopter before. Then the pilot asked our group who would like the front seat. As there were only four of us the front seat was free - wahoo! The views were spectactular and it was amazing to see London's famous landmarks from a bird's eye view.
