Firefly Driving Experience

As the UK’s biggest and best driving school for under 17s, Young Driver has been delivering driving lessons for kids and teens since 2009, operating across 70 private venues all over the UK whilst delivering 1.1 million lessons, which shows with their 5-star Trustpilot reviews! The aim is to offer responsible learning, in a safe, controlled environment in a fun way, to nurture the future generation of safe drivers.

Just for little people aged between 4 and 10 years and fully inclusive for those with disabilities or special needs, the Firefly is a real car, but a miniature version! The Firefly is a brilliant little car manufactured and built in the Midlands, right in the beating heart of the British motor industry, designed by veteran designer Chris Johnson, who has worked with the likes of Jaguar, Land Rover, Ford and Volvo. The sporty little two-seater drives and handles just like a proper car. Younger children love driving the Firefly, having fun and learning some of the basics of driving as they go.

The Firefly boasts independent suspension, rack and pinion steering, disc brakes, working indicators and lights and very modern tablet-based dashboard dials and instruments. Powered by twin lithium batteries, this diminutive car can reach 10mph. This most stylish of miniature motors comes with a hand-held remote cut off switch, which means you can let your little ones have fun, knowing that the car can be stopped from up to 120 metres away at any moment. But most grown-ups love being a passenger in the Firefly - after all, it’s not every day your chauffeur driven by your six-year-old!

The minimum age is 4 years old.
